COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Course Duration: 6 Months.
Batches commence on 1st January 2025.
The Middle School II program teaches students to become critical thinkers and visual problem solvers. Using the creative process of brainstorming, analyzing, and evaluating art, students solve problems using visual art structures, at the same time leaving room for their own personal ideas and artistic style. Studio projects connect to art history, art criticism, and written reflections.
Hands-on experiences are provided using a wide range of materials and techniques. Students work from direct observation, memory, and imagination. Emphasis on fundamental drawing skills with a focus on contour, gesture, value and perspective, color theory, mixed media, and additive and subtractive sculpture, help them confidently communicate feelings, and ideas to create personal and meaningful work.
- New Batches: Batches commence from 1st January 2025.
- Fees: The mentioned fees cover a 6-month duration, equivalent to one semester.
- Class Frequency: Classes are held once a week.
- Certificate: A certificate is awarded on completion of one year (January-December).
