In the first and second grades, students learn about the basic building blocks of art. We focus on the elements of art and students practice utilizing these elements in their own artwork and identifying them within the artworks of the masters.

Emphasis is placed on refining their skills with increasing control of each media. They will be exposed to drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, fibers, and three-dimensional art.

They will critique and discuss works of relevant artists and artwork from different cultures.

  • Fees: The mentioned fees cover a 6-month duration, equivalent to one semester.
  • Class Frequency: Classes are held once a week.
